Benjamin Bach works on the acquisition, disposition and development of commercial property, as well as retail and office leasing in Waterloo Region and the surrounding markets. His group provides occupiers and investors with a single point of contact for commercial property services. Mr. Bach is a Sales Representative with the Cushman & Wakefield Waterloo Region Office. Benjamin has successfully completed assignments including the acquisition and disposition of investment property, corporate office purchase and lease mandates, and commercial leasing (both landlord and tenant representation) in Waterloo Region.

With a Masters Degree in Strategic Marketing from an international university, Adam is equipped with the marketing insights required to leverage the Cushman & Wakefield brand. In addition, Adam has over 10 years of experience in both the private and public sectors having worked on numerous integrated marketing and communications campaigns with a focus on brand positioning, social media, web and traditional advertising, publications, promotions, conference and events planning, and campaign execution.
Having an impact in the community is an important part of Adam's perspective on giving back to the community. Adam supported the Guelph Syrian Refugee Forum acting as a corporate donations coordinator on behlf of the Guelph Chamber of Commerce and also sits on the Chamber's Membership and Marketing Committee. Adam is also an active memeber of the Guelph Triathlon Club and manages the clubs marketing activities.
Stephanie Bigelow is the Senior Research Analyst with Cushman & Wakefield Waterloo Region. She uses her knowledge of research techniques and a wide variety of sources to provide coworkers and clients with the most up to date market and property data possible. After graduating from the University of Waterloo, Stephanie began her career in commercial real estate with Cushman & Wakefield Waterloo Region. Throughout her time at Cushman & Wakefield, Stephanie has worked closely with clients and coworkers managing and writing reports for large projects, creating and maintaining local market statistics, and coordinating with the National Research Group for database construction and national research reporting.
Wendy joined Cushman & Wakefield Waterloo Region in 2015 as the Office Administrator, providing support services to the company’s agents and employees. After graduating with a DEC in Data Processing from Dawson College, Montreal, Wendy worked for over 19 years in IT as a computer programmer/analyst for a large Insurance company, and was transferred to Kitchener, Ontario with the company in 1978.
Wendy then spent 7 years abroad with an international bank as an IT Auditor, during which time she obtained her ISACA designation. After moving back to Stratford, Ontario, she worked in a residential real estate brokerage for over 8 years as an office /deals administrator before leaving in 2013 for a further 15 months abroad then returning to the Kitchener-Waterloo region and joining Cushman & Wakefield Waterloo.
Outside of work, Wendy enjoys gardening, clogging, reading and spending time with family and friends.
Loreta Corless is the Team Director for Nick Holzinger’s team. She is responsible for all team operations and marketing. Drawing from over 23 years of small business and commercial real estate experience, Loreta is a dedicated and technically skilled business professional with a versatile administrative support skill set developed through experience as an office operations manager. Loreta joins Cushman & Wakefield after 14 years at the Kitchener office of another international commercial real estate brokerage, where she was the office operations manager. Her responsibilities included budgeting and expense control, personnel management, sales support, marketing communications, research management and IT systems strategy & planning, operations and support. Prior to her career in commercial real estate, Loreta owned and operated a successful food and beverage company for over 7 years.
Ken Opper brings 30 plus years of retail leasing and transactional experience to the Retail Group of Cushman & Wakefield Waterloo Region. Ken works on specific tenant mandates locally, regionally and across Canada, in some instances, as well as on landlord listings in South Western Ontario. He has worked with and maintains relations with a broad network of retail landlords, ranging from global developers to single-property owners.
Prior to joining Cushman & Wakefield, Ken operated a successful independent retail consultancy for approximately 20 years, including a 5-year period as a managing partner of a national dollar-store chain. Before striking out on his own, Ken was a Vice President of The UCS Group (an IMASCO company), managing real estate leasing, acquisition, tendering and rationalization for four operating divisions active in shopping centre, hotel and transportation venues. Prior to that, he was National Director of Real Estate for Carlton Cards Limited.
With extensive experience in leasing, site and business acquisition, franchising, and portfolio and legal administration, the common thread is in transaction negotiation.

Ryan is a key member of the Retail Services Group with over 10 years of industry experience. Ryan possesses unparalleled market research and integrated marketing communications skills allowing him to excel in tenant representation, sales, lease negotiations and site selection for a variety of commercial owners, users and investors.
Ryan began his commercial real estate career in 2006 as a Market Research Specialist in the Kitchener-Waterloo region. Ryan’s ability to network with vendors and other industry professionals enabled him to provide invaluable research data ranging from statistical analysis, buyer and tenant profiles, investment cap rates, and exclusive listing information. In 2009, Ryan became a valuable member of Primus Realty Ltd. A former Avionics Technician with the Royal Canadian Air Force, Shawn Quilty has discovered unexpected similarities between his work on aircraft computer systems and his real estate career. Shawn became involved in real estate sales in August 2011, representing commercial buyers and sellers in Kingston and Belleville, Ontario. John brings a unique perspective to his Office Space Leasing role at Cushman & Wakefield Waterloo Region. His background includes extensive experience leasing office space both as a Tenant and for a national Landlord and Property Management company. In 1985, John was given overall Facilities Management responsibility, including acquisition and disposition of all Leased space, for over 1.6 million square feet of office space for 235 Branch office locations across Canada. In 1996, John successfully leased the growing portfolio of large commercial buildings focused in Kitchener-Waterloo. Later, he was given increasingly greater responsibilites under successive ownership groups culminating in responsibility for more than 1.9 million square feet of Office and Industrial Properties across Southwestern Ontario. Because of his extensive Facilities Management experience, John has a unique and deep understanding of the processes and key decision factors Landlords and Tenants explore when setting out to lease Office, Industrial and Retail spaces.
Margareta Rawlins is the team coordinator for Michael Klein and Stewart Campbell and is responsible for the day to day administration, marketing and operations of the team. She brings over 13 years of real estate experience having worked in various administrative and marketing roles for a local commercial real estate company. She has excelled in high end marketing deliverables; including presentations, proposals, tour packages, property brochures, and newsletters - in both print and electronic format. She is also responsible for overseeing all files and projects including database management and client liaison. Michael W. Klein

Bob has established a particular speciality in retail real estate, with 30 plus years in the field. Prior to joining Cushman & Wakefield Bob was a sales representative with a commercial real estate brokerage in the GTA. Prior to that he was of Canadian Corporate Retail Solutions practice at another international commercial real estate brokerage. He also worked for Toys R Us Canada and was Vice President of Development for the following franchise organizations: Country Style Food Services Inc., Manchu Wok and Buck or Two Stores, as well as an independent consultant supporting national retail mandates and concept rollouts over the past 20 years. Bob is a senior retail executive with thirty years of retail real estate field execution and corporate management experience, in Canada as well as the U.S. In addition to site selection and acquisition experience, Bob’s core competencies include strategic planning, mass rollouts, franchise development, project management and retail operations.
Melissa Brodhagen has 16 years in administrative experience in various fields and 3 years in real estate marketing experience. Prior to joining Cushman & Wakefield Waterloo Region, Melissa worked for 4 lawyers as well as with a team of 4 real estate agents. Drawing on her previous experience, Melissa manages the day to day business, marketing and various other support duties for David Anderson, Scott Anderson and Jordan Palmer.
Nick Holzinger joined Cushman & Wakefield in March 2013 as a Vice President. Nick has over 35 years of experience as a real estate professional and has been involved in some of the most prominent real estate transactions in southwestern Ontario. He has extensive experience in servicing Canadian, American, European and Japanese clients encompassing design/build, industrial properties and investment opportunities. Before joining Cushman & Wakefield Nick’s career includes 17 years at another international commercial real estate brokerage and 10 years as a principal partner in a family owned real estate development company. Nick is also a multi residential specialist focusing on acquisitions and dispositions of multi residential properties across Canada. Nick was also one of the founding members of WRAMA, the Waterloo Regional Apartment Management Association, formed to provide information and support to owners and managers of residential rental properties throughout the Region of Waterloo and surrounding area.
Jeffrey A. Fry
Jeff is an experienced, dynamic and creative professional with over 15 years in finance, real estate and business ownership. Jeff’s diverse experience comes from working with an international portfolio of technology, environmental, energy and investment. He has developed relationships into long-term profitable partnerships and loyal clientele. Jeff has secured financing from institutional and private banking sources for complex developments and capital for both start-ups and seasoned corporations. Jeff also served as an Officer in the Canadian Armed Forces for 14 years.

Sam has conducted lease negotiations for regional, community and neighborhood shopping centres and street-fronts. She’s acted as tenant representative and led the real estate department for a national apparel chain. Stephen Heron is a sales representative at Cushman & Wakefield Waterloo Region, with a focus on office and industrial leasing and land development. Stephen serves as one of Cushman & Wakefield Waterloo Region’s representatives at the Communitech Hub as a Resident Service Provider for Real Estate. Stephen is also a member of Cushman & Wakefield’s North American High Tech Practice Group.
Prior to working in the commercial real estate industry, Stephen co-founded TribeHR, a SaaS startup which was purchased by Netsuite. Stephen has had a varied background in marketing and advertising that has seen him to work with and for world class brands such as Samsung, Canon, Pioneer, Ricoh and Air Canada Vacations. He ran his own communications firm working with local companies such as Gina's Spa, Hair Studio and MediSpa, Gina's College, David Boyes Home Concepts, Dube & Cuttini, Kechnie Health and Wealth, Waterloo Manufacturing, Energent and FleetCarma. As well Stephen managed the advertising and marketing directives for the Schlueter Automotive Group both as an agency and then as their Director of Marketing.
Jessica McCabe, M.Ed.
Jessica is ambitious, hardworking, and detail-oriented. She started her commercial real estate career with JLL in Mississauga, working on the sale and leasing of industrial properties. Then, Jessica moved to the JLL Downtown Toronto office to work alongside the Tenant Representation Group, assisting in the leasing and sale of office properties in the GTA.
Now, with the Cushman & Wakefield Waterloo Region team, she works on the sale and leasing of office properties within the Region. Her primary responsibilities within the team consists of, but is not limited to, marketing, reporting, financial analysis, proof reading, editing, document and presentation preparation, and coordination of meetings/tours. She is also pursuing her real estate licence.
John Cameron is leading Cushman & Wakefield Waterloo Region’s merger and acquisition services having over 20 years commercial banking experience with Scotiabank, RBC, the Bank of Montreal, and TD in senior Account Manager and Business Development Manager roles. In his capacity as a Business Development Manager, he managed a diverse cross section of customer within a portfolio of up to $150 million in authorized credits and a deposit base of $100 million. His areas of expertise include advising a portfolio of high valued clients through effective account management in addition to developing long-term, relationships with service partners and local markets to optimize business growth opportunities.
As an entrepreneur, John has owned and operated his own businesses for the past 10 years. Through the experiences gained as a business owner, John brings a unique perspective to the table in understanding our commercial clients’ needs and thus crafting appropriate solutions to help them grow.
John holds a Bachelor degree in International Business from New England College, Henniker New Hampshire, USA. He also completed an International Business Course at Queens University, Hertsmonceux Castle, UK.
As the Senior Manager, Valuations & Business Modelling, Geoff works alongside shareholders and potential acquirers to facilitate the sale or purchase of businesses. With a Bachelors of Engineering in Integrated Engineering as well as an MBA in finance, he is well equipped to provide analytical and preliminary due diligence support. Proficiency in business lending, leveraged management buyouts, and private equity issuance gives him a broad and unique perspective towards financial modeling and business valuation that is invaluable to the process of buying and selling businesses. Geoff has direct experience in the valuation, and acquisition of businesses in the fields of: for profit education, trucking/logistics, ERP software, manufacturing, professional services and medical practices.
Kristin is an experienced marketing and business professional with over 16 years experience in supporting, visualizing, creating and launching successful marketing strategies, including annual planning, creative development, website development, advertising, promotions and ROI reporting.
Upon joining Cushman and Wakefield Waterloo Region in August 2016, Kristin has worked closely with team members to plan, direct, and implement many exciting organizational and marketing initiatives, including employee training, phone system launch, website development, content/media creation, brand management and messaging; as well as building and maintaining strategic vendor relationships for IT services, office supplies, print and marketing collateral.
